Making the Case: The
Nuts and Bolts of Hiring People with Disabilities

Hosted by the
U.S. Chamber's Center for Workforce Preparation in partnership with Virginia
Commonwealth University, "Making the Case: the Nuts and Bolts of Hiring
People with Disabilities" assembled two employers, a community based
non- profit employment provider and a chamber executive together for a
one hour presentation on the recruitment, hiring, and retaining of employees
with disabilities.
The panelists discuss the
power of partnerships that helped to develop and sustain their successful business
models. They build the business case by illustrating the cost benefits to their
companies and offer words of advice to non-profit community providers wanting
to find jobs for their clients.
