WIP – Workforce Investment Program (General) *
Established under the Workforce Investment Act, the Workforce Investment
Program (WIP) is designed to serve the job seeking needs of the Nation’s employer
and employees.


Who Is Eligible For These Services?

  • Public Assistance Recipients
  • Low Income Adults and Youth
  • Underemployed Adults
  • Laid Off or Downsized Adults
  • Displaced Homemakers
  • Veterans
  • Mature Workers (ages 50+)

Dislocated Worker Status
(at least one of the following must apply)

  • Received Notice of Layoff / Termination
  • Certificate of Separation
  • Plant Closure / Substantial Layoff
