Self-Directed Labs (SDLs) offer instruction and assessment in Microsoft Office applications. In a Self-Directed Lab, you will use computer-delivered instruction using Skillwaresoftware. This instruction provides clear explanations of Microsoft features and tools, as well as tutoring on the most efficient way to perform each function.

SDLs are best for clients who already have some familiarity with computers and need to refresh or enhance their existing skills. You must also be able to work independently.

To begin training in the SDLs, you need to register with Workforce Boulder County and speak with an employment advisor.
